4. Willa (AI Companion) & Data Processing

Willa is our AI learning companion; an academy on Wild may give it its own name. Here is what it uses, what it keeps, and how you stay in control:

  • What Willa Sees: To answer you, Willa uses your question and the recent part of that conversation, your name and the profile you gave us (industry, interests and a short bio), any business details you saved, your progress in that academy, and what it remembers from your earlier chats there. It does not see your email address, your password, or what you submitted to join an academy, such as an ID document
  • Memory: Willa keeps a short summary of your conversations, and any notes you add, separately in each academy, so it can pick up where you left off. On the "What Willa remembers" page you can see and edit what it remembers, or tell it to forget everything, after which it no longer uses anything said before. What Willa remembers in one academy is never used in another
  • Private Chats: A private chat is never summarized or remembered, and nothing from it is used in your other conversations. It stays in your history until you delete it
  • Finding Lessons: To find the lessons that match your question, its text, without your name or account details, is turned into a vector embedding. The embedding is used for that search only and is not stored
  • AI Service Provider: Willa's answers are generated by a third-party AI service provider, which receives the information above with each request and processes it under its own terms. For now we use the provider's free service tier, whose terms allow it to use requests and answers, including review by people, to improve its services. Please don't share sensitive personal information in chats
  • No Training by Wild: We do not use your data to train AI models
  • Who Sees Your Questions: Your academy's staff see how many questions you ask Willa and in which lessons (never for a private chat), not what you asked. A course's creators may see the common topics of questions about a lesson, grouped and reworded, once enough learners have asked, never your name or your words; private chats are left out. If you choose to send a question to a person, they receive it as shown in the preview, with your name, and it stays in their notifications
  • Keeping and Deleting: Conversations are kept while your account is open. You can delete any conversation in the app, and it is erased at once with its summary. If you delete your account, it is closed at once, and 30 days later your conversations, summaries and memory notes are permanently erased.
